2 Tank Dive - La Paz (Isla Espiritu Santo)
Diving around Isla Espíritu Santo, just off the coast of La Paz, is one of those rare places where almost every dive feels different ….. playful, wild, and incredibly alive. It’s part of a protected marine park often called the “Aquarium of the World” thanks to its density of marine life. There are more than 20 different dive sites around the island including 3 ship wrecks and one of the largest sea lion colony in the Sea Cortez. It’s a UNESCO-protected biosphere with very little development, which helps preserve its natural beauty and rich marine life. It’s suitable for both beginners and advanced divers.

This full-day excursion begins with a 5:20 AM check-in at our dive shop in Cabo San Lucas. After getting fitted with your gear, you’ll travel approximately 2.5 hours north in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to the city of La Paz, where your boat and guide will be ready and waiting.
From there, you’ll head out with our trusted local partners who know the island and its dive sites inside and out. The crossing to the island takes around 40 minutes, depending on sea conditions, while reaching the more distant northern dive sites may take up to an hour or more.
Upon arrival at each site, your guide will provide a detailed briefing before you complete two dives at different locations. Between dives, you’ll relax and enjoy lunch, served either on the beach or on the boat, depending on the weather and sea conditions.
After your dives, you’ll begin the journey back to Cabo San Lucas, returning at approximately 6:00 PM.
