IDC Course Requirements

To enroll, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Hold a PADI Divemaster certification (or equivalent)
  • Have 100+ logged dives
  • Hold current First Aid & CPR certification
  • Provide medical clearance (within 12 months)

 

To get access to the PADI eLearning, a deposit is required. The eLearning, are online modules that need to be completed prior to course start day. This includes theory, presentation and assessment, as well, Emergency First Response Instructor eLearning.

    POOL LIFE GUARD
    Malla is the ever-watchful presence by the pool—part safety enforcer, part friendly face, and occasional referee. With a talent for spotting a "Giant Stride Entry" from across the deck and the reflexes of a cat in flip-flops, Malla keeps swimmers safe while making sure everyone’s having a great time. Furthermore she is responsible for managing staff and developing strategies or policies for higher quality.

    Renson is a dedicated marine biologist from Venezuela, with a deep passion for ocean life and conservation. He spent many years conducting research and diving in the stunning Margarita Islands. Eventually, his journey led him to Peru, where he continues to share his knowledge and enthusiasm for the ocean. In addition to his work in marine biology, Renson is also a certified personal trainer, committed to promoting health and fitness. Known for his friendly demeanor, helpful attitude, and boundless energy, Renson is always ready to lend a hand and inspire those around him.

This was our first time scuba diving, and Dive Cabo made it an unforgettable experience! I went with my 14 year old daughter, and from the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff who made us feel comfortable and at ease.

Our instructor, Kostas, was amazing—patient, clear, and reassuring throughout the whole experience. I felt completely safe with him and was able to fully enjoy the dive.

We saw soo much marine life: an octopus, a school of fish, eels, sea urchin, sting rays, and so many different kinds of colorful fish.

It was not only an incredible and memorable experience that I got to share with my daughter but it is also inspiring - it made me to want to pursue scuba diving further and learn more!

As a first time diver—I was nervous, but this is something I’ve always wanted to do and I can sincerely tell you I’m so glad I went with Dive Cabo! The Instructors were incredible and very thorough in their explanations. We did 2 dives and it absolutely lit me up for pursuing certification in the future! An absolutely incredible experience! Diving with Dive Cabo was one of the highlights of our trip in Los Cabos. We visited during the quieter season, but the Dive Cabo maintained their exceptional standards and warm hospitality throughout. We were welcomed by an incredibly kind and professional team: Renson, Ruso, and Melina. Master Diver Kostas, whose calm, patient and deep love for the ocean, made our Advanced Open Water certification journey an unforgettable experience.
