Your local diving experience begins at East Cape Explorers, our sister dive center in San José del Cabo, known for its easygoing vibe and undiscovered dive spots. After check-in at 8:00 AM, you’ll get fitted with any rental gear before heading to the nearby marina. A short boat ride brings you to a selection of dive sites chosen daily based on ocean conditions and diver experience.
Sites like Zacatitos, Palmilla, and Shipwreck offer sandy bottoms, volcanic rock formations, and coral-covered ledges teeming with life. Expect encounters with moray eels, stingrays, schooling jacks, and colorful reef fish—with the occasional surprise appearance from mobula rays or even humpback whales in season. Between dives, you’ll relax on board with snacks and drinks before returning to shore around 1:30 PM.
