Referral - Open Water Diver Course
Finish your PADI Open Water Diver certification in the calm, clear waters of Cabo San Lucas. If you’ve already completed your theory and confined water sessions elsewhere, this 2-day course lets you complete your four open water dives under the guidance of our experienced instructors. Dive in the Cabo Marine Park and bring your scuba journey to life in a safe, stunning setting.

This course is designed for students who have already completed the academic and confined water sections of the PADI Open Water Diver course with another instructor. When you arrive at Dive Cabo, simply bring your signed referral paperwork or logbook. Over two afternoons, you’ll complete four ocean dives under the direct supervision of one of our certified PADI instructors.
Day one covers Open Water Dives 1 and 2, while day two completes the course with Dives 3 and 4—each conducted in the calm, shallow waters of the Cabo San Lucas Marine Park. Expect abundant marine life, and a smooth transition from pool to ocean. Whether you learned through PADI or a Universal Referral program, we’ll make sure your final training dives are enjoyable and safe.
Once completed, you’ll become a fully certified Open Water Diver, with your credentials registered directly with PADI.
Course Requirements / Prerequisites
- Must present valid PADI or Universal Referral paperwork with completed confined water and eLearning
- Minimum age: 10 years old
- Medically fit for diving (must complete and follow instructions outlined in the PADI medical form)
- Referral must be completed within 12 months of initial training
- No need to redo theory or pool sessions
Course Schedule:
Day 1: Open Water dives 1 + 2 from 13:00 – 17:00
Day 2: Open Water dives 3 +4 from 13:00 – 17:00
