PADI Advanced Open Water Course
Take your diving to the next level with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course in Cabo San Lucas. This 2-day course is designed to build confidence, expand your skills, and unlock access to deeper and more challenging dive sites—including the famous Gordo Banks. With a mix of adventure and education, you’ll complete five training dives guided by one of our experienced PADI Instructors, right here in the vibrant Cabo Marine Park and surrounding dive sites.

The Advanced Open Water course is the perfect way to improve your diving while exploring some of the region’s most exciting underwater environments. You’ll complete five Adventure Dives—two of which (Deep and Underwater Navigation) are required, while the remaining three are chosen with your instructor based on your interests and local conditions. Options include Peak Performance Buoyancy, Fish ID, Night Diving, and more.
The course is performance-based, not test-heavy. Most of the theory is completed online ahead of time using PADI eLearning, allowing you to spend more time in the water. Your dives will take place at different sites in the Cabo Marine Park and The Corridor, each offering unique topography and marine life—from sandy slopes and coral heads to dramatic walls and pelagic encounters.

Course Requirements / Prerequisites
- Must be a certified PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
- Minimum age: 12 years old
- Completion of PADI eLearning before in-water training
- 5 Adventure Dives required for certification
- Medically fit for diving (must complete and follow instructions outlined in the PADI medical form)
Course Schedule:
Day 1: Adventure dives 1 and 2 from 13:00 – 17:00
Day 2: Adventure dives 3, 4 and 5 from 8:00 – 17:00

Private Instruction
