We believe a good dive operation starts with a great team and the right tools. That’s why we invest in passionate professionals and custom-built boats to give you the best experience possible, above and below the surface.

  • Salomon Palomares

    GENERAL MANAGER
    Originally from Fort Worth, TX, Salomon brings deep experience as both a captain and mechanic. He’s passionate about delivering top-notch dive experiences and keeping the shop in great shape. Outside of diving, he stays active through running—and keeps everyone smiling with his sharp sense of humor. Hungry? Salomon knows all the best local food spots.

    Operational Manager & IDC Staff Instructor
    Our Venezuelan Marine Biologist brings 12 years of dive instruction experience from places like Margarita Island, Peru, and now Baja California Sur. A certified Scubapro technician, he’s passionate about gear and pelagic life—especially humpbacks. When he's not diving, he's probably at the gym.

    COURSE DIRECTOR
    Traun is our PADI Course Director with 23 years of teaching experience and 7 years training instructors across three countries. He’s certified over 1,000 divers and 150+ pros. When not diving, he’s golfing, fishing, or recalling his cameo in The Heartbreak Kid—yes, he met Ben Stiller (and let's just say he towers over him).

    MASTER SCUBA DIVER TRAINER
    Our MSDT Kostas brings 6+ years of experience, over 4,000 dives, and a calm, positive presence to every course. He's known for his patience, sense of humor, and smooth teaching style. Off the boat, you’ll likely find him with coffee in hand or tuning gear to perfection.

    ASSISTANT INTRUCTOR
    Assistant Instructor from Greece with 11 years of dive experience and 6 years guiding worldwide. A passionate conservationist, she's worked hands-on with sharks and sea turtles to foster ocean connection. You’ll often find her singing to sea lions or pointing out her favorite hogfish — her underwater “boyfriend.”

  • Gaia

    INSTRUCTOR
    All the way from Italy, this dive instructor brings a love for the ocean and two years of global experience guiding and teaching. When she's not underwater, she's out walking or socializing. She loves diving sidemount — if only her gear fit in the suitcase.

  • Marcos

    DIVEMASTER
    Meet Marcos, a marine biologist from Venezuela with over 10 years of diving experience, including industrial diving. He joined us as a skilled Divemaster in 2023 and brings both expertise and enthusiasm to every dive. When he's not underwater, he's cheering on his favorite football team.

  • Alex

    Boat Captain
    Captain since 1988, with 40 years of sailing and 25 years as a dive instructor, he’s explored both the Pacific and Sea of Cortez. Passionate about sharing Baja’s beauty, he loves encounters with sharks, whales, and marine mammals. When not at sea, he’s watching soccer.

  • Juanito

    BOAT CAPTAIN
    Experienced captain with 20+ years operating power and sailing vessels, including 6 years in high-performance racing. He crewed on New Zealand’s America’s Cup boat ‘Black Magic’ during exhibition events in Mexico—an unforgettable highlight in a standout career.

  • Ruso

    BOAT CAPTAIN
    Meet Captain Ruso, a Cabo San Lucas native with 20+ years navigating the Sea of Cortez. His local knowledge and easygoing vibe help make every dive smooth and memorable. After hours, you’ll find him kicking back with a cold Pacífico.

  • Somi

    RESERVATIONS
    Somi is a full-time university student and part-time email support pro who grew up diving the Sea of Cortez. She’s been exploring the underwater world since age 12 and is now a certified rescue diver. Outside of diving and studying, she loves discovering new places and local culture.

  • Pedro

    DRIVER
    Born and raised in Baja California Sur, he’s our go-to private transfer driver with a passion for sharing the region’s hidden gems. Whether it's coastal routes or desert trails, he loves showcasing the beauty of BCS. Off the road, you’ll find him exploring, enjoying local food, or soaking up the Baja vibe.

Our Boats

Sunshine

The Sunshine is our spacious 42-foot dive boat, purpose-built for comfort, safety, and capability on the water. Outfitted with twin outboards, a large dive platform, shaded seating, and a marine toilet, it’s ideal for longer trips and larger groups without sacrificing space or ease. A wide ladder ensures smooth entries and exits, while onboard GPS keep us dialed in to the best dive sites. Whether you’re exploring the The Arch, the Marine Park, or heading out to Whale’s Head, the Sunshine gets you there relaxed and ready to dive.

Pacifica

The Pacifica is our sleek 26-foot dive boat built for agility, speed, and efficiency — perfect for smaller groups and quick access to local sites. With a Baja style V shape hull, and a powerful outboard engine, full shade cover, and an easy-access ladder, it’s well suited for both beginners and experienced divers. Despite its compact size, it offers ample space for gear and comfort on board. Whether you’re diving the Cabo San Lucas Marine Park or enjoying a private charter, the Pacifica makes every trip smooth and simple.
