The PPB Specialty starts at the Dive Cabo center in the early afternoon. After a short theory session, your instructor will guide you through in-water exercises that focus on breath control, proper weighting, streamlining, and horizontal positioning. You’ll practice hovering and fine-tune your buoyancy over different bottom types like sand, reef, and rocky patches in the Cabo San Lucas Marine Park. These skills not only enhance your dive experience but also help reduce environmental impact. You’ll finish the day a more confident, efficient, and skilled diver.
Course Requirements / Prerequisites
- Must be a certified Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
- Minimum age: 10 years old
- Completion of PADI eLearning before dive day
- Recent dive experience recommended
- 2 open water dives required for certification
- Medically fit for diving (must complete and follow instructions outlined in the PADI medical form)
Course Schedule:
Day 1: Navigation dives 1 and 2 from 13:00 – 17:00
