The one stop shop for all your professional development. Onsite accommodations, deep water training pool, a/c classroom, fully stocked kitchen, washing facilities, free high speed wifi and BBQ chill out area. Our comprehensive program goes beyond the normal Instructor Development Course, by explaining in depth, the course curriculum and PADI system of education that will shape your future as a PADI Pro. By far the  most advantage reason to further your diving career is to experience the purpose built facilities, we invested in our business, allowing you to focus on your path and get great tutorage from our experienced in house PADI Course Director. As an added special offer, FREE ACCOMMODATION is available on a first come, first serve!

The Dive Cabo PADI Instructor Development Course is a 10 day program. Starting with the fundamentals of diving theory, covering topics of physics, physiology, equipment, skills and environment and the RDP. A complete break down of the PADI manual and the courses you will be able to teach. Then development in the classroom, where you learn to micro teach topics and work on your oral presentations. In the custom deep water pool, you will work on your confined water teaching skills as well as hone your in water skills from being able to do the skill, to mastering the presentation of how a skill is done, with the added bonus of unlimited pool time. Working on your rescue technique, so it becomes second nature. Then moving to open water, we put all the supervision and organising to the test, showing you tips and suggestions on how to achieve the best out of your future students.

Then all roads lead to the 2 day PADI Examinations. Where it is just a matter of presenting what you have just done over the course of your IDC! 

To enter the PADI Instructor Development Course-

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Hold a PADI Divemaster (or equivalent) 
  • Have at least 100 logged dives
  • Hold a current First aid and CPR certificate
  • Have a medical clearance within last 12 months

 

To get access to the PADI eLearning, a deposit is required. The eLearning, are online modules that need to be completed prior to course start day. This includes theory, presentation and assessment, as well, Emergency First Response Instructor eLearning.

The deposit also secures your FREE ACCOMMODATION (first come first serve) which is valid from one day prior to course start, till one day after exam. Extra nights are available at $25usd per night, maximum 4 nights.

Located on the very southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula, Los Cabos is right between the mighty Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez. This convergence zone is one of the most productive marine environments around. Cooler deep oceanic water full of nutrients rise up and mix with the warm tropical waters creating a smorgasbord of food for the whole eco system.

The region averages 12 days a year of rain, sunshine is abundant to help the thriving eco system flourish,  annual whale migration, Mobula Ray migration, fast swimming pelagic Marlin, Tuna and Mahi Mahi. All call the region home.

Easy access into the region via the big international airport (SJD), ensures easy access year round. Drop us a message and our in house PADI Course Director Traun will only be too happy to give you all the best info that will help you get on your way to becoming a PADI Instructor!

    POOL LIFE GUARD
    Malla is the ever-watchful presence by the pool—part safety enforcer, part friendly face, and occasional referee. With a talent for spotting a "Giant Stride Entry" from across the deck and the reflexes of a cat in flip-flops, Malla keeps swimmers safe while making sure everyone’s having a great time. Furthermore she is responsible for managing staff and developing strategies or policies for higher quality.

    PADI IDC STAFF INSTRUCTOR
    Renson is a dedicated marine biologist from Venezuela, with a deep passion for ocean life and conservation. He spent many years conducting research and diving in the stunning Margarita Islands. Eventually, his journey led him to Peru, where he continues to share his knowledge and enthusiasm for the ocean. In addition to his work in marine biology, Renson is also a certified personal trainer, committed to promoting health and fitness. Known for his friendly demeanor, helpful attitude, and boundless energy, Renson is always ready to lend a hand and inspire those around him.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal tauchen, und Dive Cabo hat es zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht! Ich war mit meiner 14-jährigen Tochter dort, und von dem Moment an, als wir ankamen, wurden wir von freundlichen Mitarbeitern begrüßt, die uns das Gefühl gaben, dass wir uns wohlfühlen und entspannen können.

Unser Tauchlehrer Kostas war fantastisch - geduldig, klar und beruhigend während der gesamten Erfahrung. Ich habe mich bei ihm absolut sicher gefühlt und konnte den Tauchgang in vollen Zügen genießen.

Wir haben so viel Meeresleben gesehen: einen Oktopus, einen Fischschwarm, Aale, Seeigel, Stachelrochen und so viele verschiedene Arten von bunten Fischen.

Es war nicht nur ein unglaubliches und unvergessliches Erlebnis, das ich mit meiner Tochter teilen konnte, sondern es war auch inspirierend - es hat mich dazu gebracht, das Tauchen weiter zu verfolgen und mehr zu lernen!

Da ich zum ersten Mal tauche, war ich nervös, aber das ist etwas, was ich schon immer machen wollte, und ich kann ehrlich sagen, dass ich so froh bin, dass ich mit Dive Cabo getaucht bin! Die Tauchlehrer waren unglaublich und sehr gründlich in ihren Erklärungen. Wir haben 2 Tauchgänge gemacht und es hat mich absolut erleuchtet, die Zertifizierung in der Zukunft anzustreben! Eine absolut unglaubliche Erfahrung! Sehr, sehr zu empfehlen!

Erstaunlicher Tauchausflug, die Sicht war schlecht, aber unser Guide war unglaublich und brachte uns zu den besten Plätzen, um viele Fische und andere Tiere zu sehen. Kostas war großartig, sehr zu empfehlen!

Das Tauchen mit Dive Cabo war einer der Höhepunkte unserer Reise in Los Cabos. Wir besuchten die Insel in der ruhigeren Saison, aber Dive Cabo behielt seinen außergewöhnlichen Standard und seine herzliche Gastfreundschaft bei. Wir wurden von einem unglaublich freundlichen und professionellen Team empfangen: Renson, Ruso und Melina. Master Diver Kostas, dessen ruhige, geduldige und tiefe Liebe zum Ozean, machte unsere Reise zur Advanced Open Water Zertifizierung zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis. Am Ende tauchten wir fünf Tage hintereinander mit Dive Cabo. Es war einfach atemberaubend, eine Schule von Mobula-Rochen vorbeigleiten zu sehen.
