Day 1 – Cabo San Lucas Marine Park

Your Baja diving adventure begins in the world-famous Cabo San Lucas Marine Park, where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez. Check-in is at 8:00 AM at our dive shop for a two-tank dive. The dive sites are located just 5 to 10 minutes by boat from the marina, allowing you to spend more time exploring and less time traveling.

Discover dramatic underwater rock formations, vibrant reefs, playful sea lions, and an incredible variety of marine life in one of Mexico’s most iconic dive destinations. After your dives, you’ll return to the dive shop at approximately 12:00 PM, leaving the rest of the day free to enjoy Cabo San Lucas.

Day 2 – Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park

On the second day, you’ll experience one of the greatest marine conservation success stories in the world: Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park. Check-in is at 5:20 AM for an early departure. Relax in our comfortable, air-conditioned transportation during the scenic 2-hour and 15-minute drive to Cabo Pulmo.

It is known for its remarkable biodiversity, Cabo Pulmo offers encounters with massive schools of jacks, groupers, sea turtles, rays, and seasonal bull sharks. Following your dives and lunch, you’ll return to Cabo San Lucas at approximately 4:30 PM.

Day 3 – Gordo Banks Seamounts

Your third day takes you offshore to the legendary Gordo Banks, one of Baja’s most exciting advanced dive sites. Check-in is at 7:00 AM at our Cabo San Lucas dive shop. From there, we’ll transport you to our sister operation, East Cape Explorers, located in San José del Cabo. After departure, enjoy a 45 to 60-minute boat ride to the offshore seamounts.

Rising from depths of more than 1,000 meters, Gordo Banks attracts an incredible concentration of pelagic marine life. Depending on the season, divers may encounter schools of hammerhead sharks, mobula rays, large schools of tuna and jacks, as well as marlin, dolphins, whales, and other oceanic species. After completing your two dives, you’ll return to the marina at approximately 1:30 PM, followed by the 45-minute drive back to Cabo San Lucas.

Day 4 – Espíritu Santo Island, La Paz

The grand finale of your Best of Baja adventure takes you to the breathtaking waters surrounding Espíritu Santo Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located near La Paz, the capital of Baja California Sur. The journey begins at 5:20 at our shop with a scenic 2.5-hour drive to La Paz, where you’ll board one of our partner dive boats. Depending on sea conditions, the boat ride to Espíritu Santo Island takes approximately 1 to 2 hours.

This pristine island is renowned for its dramatic volcanic landscapes, and abundant marine life. The highlight for many divers is the famous sea lion colony at Los Islotes, where curious and playful sea lions often interact with divers. Additional dive sites include several fascinating shipwrecks, colorful reefs, and rocky pinnacles that attract large schools of fish, rays, turtles, and other marine life. After a full day of diving, you’ll return to Cabo San Lucas with memories of an unforgettable journey through the very best dive destinations Southern Baja has to offer. You be back in Cabo San Lucas at around 18:00.
