Your day begins with a 6:00 AM pickup from your hotel in Cabo San Lucas and be back around 5:00 PM. You’ll travel north in a comfortable, air-conditioned car to the city of La Paz, where your boat and guide await. After a briefing on the biology, behavior, and conservation of whale sharks, you’ll head to the protected snorkeling zone—just 15 to 30 minutes offshore. Once a whale shark is spotted, you’ll gear up and enter the water for a respectful, close-range swim. Each encounter is carefully timed and regulated to ensure a safe experience for both guests and animals. After approximately two hours on the water, you’ll enjoy a freshly prepared local lunch before beginning the scenic drive back to Los Cabos.
