The Emergency First Response (EFR) course at Dive Cabo teaches primary and secondary care—CPR, first aid, and emergency response—following internationally recognized guidelines. Whether you’re preparing for your Rescue Diver course or just want to be equipped to handle real-world emergencies, this course gives you the knowledge and confidence to act.

The EFR course is a comprehensive training program designed for both divers and non-divers. It covers primary care (CPR), secondary care (first aid), and AED usage, preparing you to manage both life-threatening and minor medical emergencies. The day starts with instructor-led sessions in our comfortable classroom space, where you’ll learn to assess situations, administer care, and respond to a variety of real-world scenarios.
You’ll practice with CPR mannequins, first aid kits, and simulation exercises that bring the lessons to life. Our experienced instructors create a supportive, low-pressure environment that emphasizes hands-on learning and builds your confidence. This course is a requirement for many PADI certifications—including Rescue Diver, Divemaster, and Instructor—but it’s also invaluable training for everyday life.

Requirements:
- No prior certification or diving experience required
- Minimum age: 12 years
- Good physical and mental health
